I have serious reservations about Governor Mike Huckabee and I admit they are mostly policy issues; how to go about enacting the cures the Governor so strongly and rightly believes is our Christian duty. My objections with Governor Huckabee is in his methods. I wrote in my book in the chapter on economics that the government took over ground that the church walked away from, primarily during and years after the Azusa Street Revival. Governor Huckabee believes it is our duty to help others and he’s right; it is our individual duty, not the duty of government to take care of people. The government’s duty is to protect the people and stay out of their lives as much as possible.

At any rate, Bruce Walker has written a brilliant piece that succinctly sums up of what I’m talking. Check out Mike Huckabee and Christian Duty at the American Thinker.
