I’ve seen many of the videos coming out of Iraq, but I admit I missed this one. Thanks to Thea Maddox for sending this music video by Marine Mike Corrado. His song is titled, “On My Watch Tonight,” and I particularly like the line where he sings, “You take care of the love and I’ll deal with the hate.”
That is what our brave men and women do; we sleep tight while they fight. God bless them!
God Bless them! I claim the words of the 91 Psalm for them all! Thank you Dave- Carolyn
Our soldiers and their families deserve our un-conditional support in all areas. They are on the front lines protecting and securing our freedoms and following the direction of our President and Military Leaders. While they experience the trauma of war, we are safe at home. I urge everyone to seek some way to assist our wounded and fallen as they need to know we are here for them. We as American Citizens must suppport our collective Sons and Daughters, those who go in support of us all.
Those of us who are veterans need to assist our fellow civilian friends and neighbors to understand the extreme sacrifices our Military give to protect us. The video you show us above, gives us a glimpse of the demands placed upon our soldiers.
Dave, we appreciate you. Words cannot express our feelings. You and your family are in our prayers.
I think it is a very moving piece and hope that it is played enough on the radio stations that everyone has a chance to hear it.
If someone hears this and is not moved by the picture the words paint, they are beyond hope!
