I have forever been saying that if I could ban one word from the english language it would be “entitlement.” If ever there was an example of what a social disease entitlement has become, the audio link below is it. Listen to this actual message left with a car repossession company. I have no words to describe my feelings.
Dave, I don’t even know where to start with this one. I’m surprised to hear the woman mention God’s name, because she really doesn’t seem to know Him. Oh this makes me sad and angry. People are so decieved and it seems to me that they don’t mind being led this way. To them, all the rest of us are the mean bigots, the hypocritical greedy rich. Just because hard working people would rather be able to keep the money they earned and not give it to those who won’t, doesn’t make them greedy. Those who think they deserve something because they want it and others have it are the greedy ones. Too many people have not learned to work, save and practice delayed gratification- and now, they have 4 bedroom homes with plasma flat screened TVs, 2 SUVs in the driveway and brand new furnishings- they are all crying because they only make about 30 thousand a year and are facing foreclosure?! Can some of these people wake up and join the real world? I doubt it. They’ve been riding the gravy train so long, I don’t think they even realize what reality is, and they don’t want to know. I know it’s not very Christian of me to feel little pity for these people, but I feel as though they are stealing from people I know who work so hard for the things they have, and it is not right. Ah well. Sorry Dave, this could be a whole series of blog posts, but I don’t think anyone’s listening anymore- they’re too busy counting the money they’ll be getting from Obama. God bless you Dave.

This has been going on for a long time now. It has been subdued, but like 17 year cicadas, Obama has brought these wretched creatures out of their cocoons so we can listen to their plaintive needy cry.
Like a heroin addict wanting a fix, these people awaited their Messiah who would bring them to the Promised Land where they would be free of want.
Did I say bring? Nay, carry them aloft on clouds of ease as it would be too cruel to expect them to walk or drive to their destination. And the sad thing is they will never be free from want. They park their asses in front of a television set and see the baubles dance before their eyes in a hypnotizing array of consumerism.
Their advocates like Sharpton and Jackson sharpen their peception of self inflicted wounds; never mind that unwed mothers are the single greatest cause of poverty in this country, that their own sons are the greatest threat to their security. That pales in comparison to sins commmitted hundreds of years ago.
Don’t be surprised that this woman will invoke the name of a Diety in whom she probably really does not believe in. Many follow the false prophets who play them like a conductor leading an orchestra. The Entitlement Symphony in B Minority is a popular piece. You can hear it any time in many American cities.
