Trusting Evil

So what now?

The health care bill from the Senate has passed the House and now it must be reconciled by the upper house.

How did this happen?

Simple, we the pro-life/family movement trusted evil and Isaiah the Prophet warned us against this abomination:

    “Woe to those who call evil good, and good evil; who put darkness for light, and light for darkness; who put bitter for sweet, and sweet for bitter!” (Isaiah 5:20)

As a movement that represents holiness we trusted men who embraced and worked with evil.

Bro Dave, are you calling Democrats evil? Not just them, but Republicans also who believed they could compromise with the evil practice of abortion.

For decades the pro-life movement has embraced the Hyde Amendment and its incremental approach to bringing an end to abortion in America because being against abortion for any reason is not a pragmatic approach.

So how did that work out for you?

Incrementalism has brought the abyss; it is now likely that all abortions will become tax-payer funded in the near future.

For too long we have been told that you can’t jump out of a hole in one attempt. True, but I am reminded of a conversation between Jesus and His disciples:

    “Then Jesus said to His disciples, ‘Assuredly, I say to you that it is hard for a rich man to enter the kingdom of heaven. And again I say to you, it is easier for a camel to go through the eye of a needle than for a rich man to enter the kingdom of God.’ When His disciples heard it, they were greatly astonished, saying, ‘Who then can be saved?’ But Jesus looked at them and said to them, ‘With men this is impossible, but with God all things are possible.’” (Matthew 19:23-26)

Trusting Christians have for too long relied on these pro-life organizations to fight our fights when the responsibility lies with the pulpit and the pews. The only thing these faux conservative organizations have accomplished is to enrich themselves.

They have not stopped government-funded abortions; they condone it by exhorting its members to support the Hyde/Stupak/Ben Nelson Amendments.

They have not stopped sodomy marriage; in fact many of them either endorse or praise pro-sodomy marriage Governor Mitt Romney for President.

Folks, telling us to support candidates who fund killing babies no matter how the unborn child is conceived is evil.

Telling us a candidate is a fine person when he single-handedly and illegally instituted sodomy marriage in Massachusetts is evil.

These people are the false teachers of the like of Hananiah of whom the Prophet Jeremiah spoke against:

    “Therefore thus says the LORD: ‘Behold, I will cast you from the face of the earth. This year you shall die, because you have taught rebellion against the LORD.’” (Jeremiah 28:16)

Now I am not predicting the death of any of these men and women nor am I calling for it. But do you not see the death of our nation happening before your eyes? It is because we are calling evil good and good evil.

Let me say something controversial but biblically sound.

If you are a Christian, blood-bought by the sacrifice of Christ on the cross, born-again and indwelled with the Holy Spirit, you cannot be a member of the Democratic Party because its platform endorses a woman’s right to kill her unborn baby.

If I am wrong then prove me so scripturally.

Supporting a woman’s right to kill her unborn baby is evil.

If I am wrong then prove me so scripturally.

Supporting a bill that funds Planned Parenthood and/or pays for aborting an unborn baby conceived out of rape or incest or the mother’s life being in danger is evil.

If I am wrong then prove me so scripturally.

Oh by the way; that last one includes many, many Republicans, Christians, and conservatives, sometimes all one in the same.

It is time to remove the stinking thinking from this country.

It is time to try it God’s way instead of man’s way; man’s way has brought us to this point.

We have for too long condoned sin in this nation and we are now reaping what we have sowed. Judgment has come to us as it did to Israel long ago as prophesied by Jeremiah:

    “‘Because from the least of them even to the greatest of them, everyone is given to covetousness; and from the prophet even to the priest, everyone deals falsely. They have also healed the hurt of My people slightly, Saying, ‘Peace, peace!’ When there is no peace. Were they ashamed when they had committed abomination? No! They were not at all ashamed; nor did they know how to blush. Therefore they shall fall among those who fall; at the time I punish them, they shall be cast down,’ says the LORD.” (Jeremiah 6:13-15)

That is the bad news but it does not have to be permanent. If we will individually and then corporately repent of our sins and return to the path of righteousness Jeremiah follows up with this promise from God:

    “For I will set My eyes on them for good, and I will bring them back to this land; I will build them and not pull them down, and I will plant them and not pluck them up. Then I will give them a heart to know Me, that I am the LORD; and they shall be My people, and I will be their God, for they shall return to Me with their whole heart.” (Jeremiah 24:6-7)

Beloved, you can expect a massive mail and phone campaign from these apostate organizations to help fight the health care bill; do not send them one penny of your hard earned money. They have proved themselves untrustworthy. Unless they publicly acknowledge and repent of their duplicity then they must be cast off. The funding must stop.

We must stop trusting evil and once again trust only God.

It is when you get to the point of having only God to trust that you realize that Jesus is all that you need.

May that become true of America once again.
