The Jeffers Family would like to send its love and heartfelt thanks to all our wonderful veterans, past and present, who have willingly served and sacrificed to bring liberty not only to this great nation, but also to freedom-loving peoples across the world.
Our hearts are especially full for those and their families “who gave the last full measure.” May the Lord bring you a peace and pride that comes from selfless service and sacrifice.

Dave, that was a beautiful artice, and it made me cry again. I was thinking along the same line when you said you’re glad Eddie doesn’t have to see America now. After Obama won, I saw a picture on TV of a soldier, and I said to Michael, as much as I feel bad for those of us who didn’t vote for him, Those- the soldiers are whom I feel worse for. I pray Obama will surprise us some how in good ways leading our country, but I think realistically, well… you know what I think. God Bless you and all our troops past and present. Thank You.
Rest in Peace Eddie! You are not forgotten. Thank you for your service to our country.
God Bless you Bro. Dave. I’m pretty sure you were as much a hero to Eddie as he was to you.
I’m glad you can see the silver lining in the timing of Eddie’s death, Dave. Because Jesus took him home in late 2007, Eddie does not have to see the current state of our country (and who our next President is). I sure look forward to meeting him in heaven, and many other great Christians–and the Lord Himself!
We can’t do enough for veterans, and I’m glad for ministries to veterans 🙂 .
