Sorry it’s been a few days since I last posted. We had a busy weekend with the First Annual Hope Rides Alone Family Reunion on Saturday, which was a smashing success! We raised $500 with 50 people in attendance and the generosity of those locally and around the country. May God bless you for your kindness. Okay, we made it to Baltimore with the threat of rain that actually turned into a reality about two hours before game time. So when we got to Orioles Park at Camden Yards we had a strong feeling, from looking at the radar, that the game would get postponed. So we waited around for an hour and a half until it was officially postponed. We could have got tickets to Saturday’s doubleheader, however we were heading towards Atlanta making our way back home. Anyway, we still had fun and here are some of the pictures.

The night off for the Minnesota Twins did them some good; they won Saturday’s doubleheader 12 – 6 and 12 – 2!
Once the game was officially postponed, we headed back to our room on the 22nd floor at the Baltimore Marriott Waterfront. It was definitely a rainy night:

The hotel is in a great location to go to sporting events. Here is Orioles Park from our window:

We definitely want to return to both cities; Baltimore to enjoy the Inner Harbor with all its fantastic shopping and eateries and next time we go to D.C., we plan on flying. It was a long trip, but worthwhile and we thank the Lord for providing for us to go.
Okay, tomorrow it is back to reality. A lot has been going on in the political world as you know and I have been on vacation long enough. Time to sharpen my pencil!
Baltimore looks like a real pretty city. I had no idea you liked baseball Dave- it’s my fav. sport. I miss going to see the Blue Jays with my dad! He and I had our dad/daughter dates at seems like a million games since I was 12. I always wanted to see a game at every ballpark, but only have been to the sky dome (if you’re ever in T.O, you’ll have to check it out!) and Texas at Arlington. Oh well- looks like you had another great time though. God Bless! Carolyn
