This video is probably the best I’ve seen so far and the Bryan Duncan in this is the very same Bryan Duncan of Christian music fame. Enjoy!

I had an impression just now about McCain. When he said the Mexican illegals should be treated “humanely” because they are all “God’s children”, I should have instantly noticed that it was a completely pagan statement. Jesus said only those who receive Him are His children. Universalism, the New Age idea that we are all God’s children and “connected” with the universe (excluding Jesus’ condition that only those who receive Him are His children), is closely tied to both socialism and environmentalism, which McCain consistently has supported. “All should be treated equally” and “everyone is God’s child” should be replaced by the Biblical statements “All are created equal, but individually accountable for individual deeds” and “Only those who receive the Savior are children of God”.
Yet another concern I have about John McCain.
The faith forum made me stand up and cheer several times for McCain. McCain has momentum and I was extremely impressed by his answers and his strength.
Prior to that forum I was going to hold my nose and vote for him, after the forum I had a spark of excitement. If he picks a conservative v.p. like Palin I will run to the polls with glee and will encourage others who are thinking of not voting to vote.
Chris,
What you are saying is so true. But if McCain stands for pro-life, low taxes, and has a great foreign policy ideology and also believes in maintaining our freedom of religion and speech then we need to back him. There is a lot at stake here. Believe me I was NOT thrilled when McCain won and was considering revolting and not voting. If he picks a liberal as a running mate I will again be re-considering, but still the question lies as to whether or not we are willing to hand our country over to a socialist leaning toward Marxist.
While McCain has gone moderate he isn’t a socialist. For example, if we embrace socialism as Canada and Sweden did, and I wrote about this on my blog, then our pastors in America could be jailed for teaching the bible on issues such as gay marriage and other issues that could be deemed as ‘hate speech’. The liberals want a federal hate crime law like Canada has where you could be jailed for it. McCain won’t allow that.
Obama is worse than Carter to be honest with you and it is highly possible that after he is done with our country as a believer we will be bound in a lot of ways. It is scary.
Chuck Baldwin is running on the Constitution Party ticket, and while the Constitution Party is not acknowledged by the MSM, it is the only one I can believe in at this point. You should check it out, because Chuck Baldwin is not interested in furthering the global agenda like Obama and McCain.

Pat Buchanan affirms what I saw on a YouTube clip from FOX: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=5idQm8YyJs4&feature=related
Buchanan, who has been credible in the past, wrote that McCain’s foreign policy adviser was hired by Georgia’s president to lobby the US to fight Russia on behalf of NATO. FOX, in the YouTube, deliberately distracted from the statements of the Georgian mother, who was saying that Russia was the liberating force instead of aggressor. I found FOX’s dirty trick of “you have thirty seconds to reply” intimidating and outrageous. I hope this does not lead into a full-blown war with Russia and its ally, Iran; when, as I saw on that FOX clip, the news media resorts to manipulation or attempted cover-ups, it becomes obvious that they’re distorting the truth on behalf of special interests.
Trust me Christopher, Russia is not the liberating force. My sources are getting reports of horrendous atrocities being conducted on the Georgians. I was in Albania getting daily intelligence summaries of the atrocities the Serbians were perpetuating on the Kosovars and they are identical to what is going on in Georgia.
That’s right–you were in the big Serbia-Kosovo conflict in the Clinton years.
