Devotional Hiatus

Beloved,

I will be taking a two-week hiatus from writing devotionals as I work on another project. I’ll give you a hint of what it is; it is a sequel to my book Understanding Evangelicals: A Guide To Jesusland. If you don’t have a copy of the first one, you get one in paperback or Kindle at Amazon.

I always thought that I would be writing an expanded, revised, and updated hardcover version of my first book, of which I may still do, however the Lord gave me the inspiration to write a sequel.

At first He gave me the title (of which I won’t be divulging until it’s published) and this past week He gave me the format, for which I need to come up with an outline. That is what I will be working on the next two weeks, plus the research for the chapters once the outline is done.

I covet your prayers in this endeavor; I believe it will be an important work and my prayer is to bring attention to the Lord Jesus Christ and glorify His name.

May the Lord bless you these first two weeks of December and He be willing I’ll see you on December 17th with a new devotional. Remember you can always read the past ones at my Salt and Light Blog. The link is below.
