CNN President Jon Klein is declaring the Obama birth certificate story as “dead.”
Why is it dead you ask?
Because supposedly “CNN researchers had determined that Hawaiian officials discarded all paper documents in 2001.”
If in fact the Hawaiian officials discarded all paper documents, how do you account for the Snopes Urban Legend story proclaiming Hawaii’s:

“Health Department Director Dr. Chiyome Fukino says that she and the registrar of vital statistics, Alvin Onaka, have personally verified that the Healt Department holds Obama’s original birth certificate.”
If in fact all paper documents were destroyed, then what in sam hill did Dr. Fukino and Mr. Onaka see?
Was it a mirage?
Something is rotten in Denmark or closer yet Honolulu and/or Atlanta (CNN HQs).
