As my regular readers know, I am embarking on a 3R strategy to Rescue Our Republic. The recipe for rescue is:
1. Reeducation: learning the traditional history and truth behind the founding of our nation, preeminently that this nation was founded as a Christian nation that allowed for freedom of worship or not to worship. It will also require American Christendom to have pastors in the pulpits across this country standing in the gap for Jesus instead of telling the flock to find your best life now.
2. Revival: as one nation under God, we as a nation must turn back to God. That means we must have godly elected officials, bold pastors preaching the aletheia truth only found in the Holy Bible. It will mean individual, familial, community, state, and finally national confession of our sins and repentance towards our just and merciful God.
3. Revolution: not as we experienced in 1776 where we had to pick up arms. This revolution will come about by Americans putting down the remote control and wii paddles for just one hour a day and searching the Scriptures and the Internet and using a biblical lens to see the state of our nation. When Amercans in general, and Christians specifically, begin investing time in protecting individual and national liberty, and voting in every, and I mean EVERY election for only godly men and women, then revolution will come.
And do not allow the statists to sway you from your resolve in seeking revolution; we seek it through peaceful means through the ballot box. Random House Dictionary defines revolution as “an overthrow or repudiation and the thorough replacement of an established government or political system by the people governed.”
That is what we seek; the thorough replacement of our established government by us, WE THE PEOPLE!
The purpose of this blog is to bring “political and moral clarity into the fog of political correctness.” I want to highlight great articles, book, columns, and essays by WE THE PEOPLE that bring truth to light.
John Adams, while addressing the Second Continental Congress, on June 21, 1776 said:
-
“Statesmen, my dear Sir, may plan and speculate for liberty, but it is Religion and Morality alone, which can establish the Principles upon which Freedom can securely stand. The only foundation of a free Constitution is pure Virtue, and if this cannot be INSPIRED INTO OUR PEOPLE IN A GREATER MEASURE, THAN THEY HAVE IT NOW, they may change their Rulers and the forms of Government, but they will not obtain a lasting liberty.†(Emphasis added)
A bold brother in Christ Steve Deace has addressed this in his latest World Net Daily article “It’s about G-O-D, not G-O-P.”
A pastor who is not afraid to speak truth to power, Ken Hutcherson, has called out not only Barack Obama, but also evangelicals who support Obama. (Hat tip to Andy Bendzin)
-
Hutcherson expresses disgust with evangelicals who still support President Obama, despite his promotion of policies that are at odds with scripture. He says such individuals are part of the “evangellyfish” movement in America.
Another excellent article about our Declaration of Independence is from Frank Salvato titled “When In The Course of Human Events…” which can be found at the New Media Journal.
I believe President Adams would be proud of Brother Steve, Pastor Ken, and American Patriot Frank for standing up for “pure Virtue.”

It is remarkable what courage that all of America’s pioneers had to civilize this land, and how God gave the patriots of the American Revolution, including those who signed the Declaration, the ability to perceive eternal truths and the courage to fight for those. Thank God that spirit is not dead, despite witchcraft and pornography on the rise in our country.
